That’s my condensed version of theologian Grant Kaplan’s attempt to briefly describe the theologian James Alison’s fresh take on what the Catholic Church is. (Less convoluted description under construction!) My aim here is to share this thing which has so inspired me and ponder “the presence and activity of the Church in the world of today” in its light.
